Since we started cooperating with TradingShenzhen.com in about February 2021, when we they ordered Mi 11 for the first time, we have more than a dozen orders for equipment worth hundreds, even thousands of euros. With its services, this business has confirmed to us that we have absolutely no need to worry about our money and it will fulfill everything it promises.
After the release of a new bloated laptop Xiaomi Mi Notebook ProX15 we knew immediately that it would be the successor to our almost 4,5-year-old Mi Notebook Pro, which has had enough. TradingShenzhen included it in the offer as the first international store in the world, so we did not hesitate and ordered a laptop. That's how it all turned out.
Order 1600 € laptop from TradingShenzhen according to the new EU law
It is important to say that we ordered the laptop on July 15.7.2021, XNUMX, that is, already at the time of the entry into force of the new European VAT law for consignments from China. Although this law mainly concerns cheap parcels, no one was sure how it would be with the delivery of expensive parcels in duty-free transport, which worked well before the new law.
Our primary test, then, was exactly how the entire delivery would take place after the new law. Seller TradingShenzhen continues to offer duty free transport Global Priority, in which he promises to settle all customs duties for you. You should not pay anything extra on delivery.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook ProX15
You do not pay any extra fees for Global Priority shipping.
We recommend choosing Global Priority transport, for which you will not pay extra. Customs fees and any VAT will be arranged for you directly by the seller. Shipping can only be selected in the cart, after entering the delivery address. Delivery with Global Priority usually takes about 15 days, but may take longer.
Our order after the application of the new EU law came to the amount of approximately 1580 €, which we think is very brave. If we were to pay an additional 20% VAT, it would cost us another 316 € more. In the back of our minds, however, we hoped that the seller would be able to arrange it for us even during the period of validity of the new law.
TradingShenzhen did not disappoint again! 15.7. we made the payment, 18.7. the seller received the payment and 20.7. we received an email that our package had been sent. The report also lacked a link to track the package. And the result?
12 days after sending the order, specifically August 2.8.2021, XNUMX, the DPD courier called us, he is at the door with the package. Yes, it took only 12 days to deliver an expensive laptop from faraway China! And as the seller promised, we did not pay any additional fees, ie no VAT or customs duties, and we did not deal with customs proceedings.
As can be seen in the tracking system, the package passed through customs somewhere between China and the Netherlands. This was handled directly for us by the seller, no one contacted us and we did not have to document anything.
To recap, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 15 in the version with Intel Core i7-11370H processor, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD came out to a total of 1572 € including postagewhich is € 30 for this laptop.
The seller automatically added 5 to our basket € discount coupon and they also refunded us another 15 € within the loyalty program for customers. This amount can be used in the store as a discount for your next purchase. Every customer who creates an account is automatically included in the loyalty program.
They cared about protecting the package
When a person orders a laptop from China worth 1600 € and more, he doesn't want anything to get damaged during transport. When ordering from the TradingShenzhen store, we were sure that the package would handle the transportation from faraway China without any damage.
The laptop box itself came wrapped in an additional original Xiaomi box, which was still wrapped in about four layers of bubble wrap and then in a huge envelope. In this case, it is almost impossible to damage the internal contents, even if the package is handled carelessly or thrown.
The seller also has a habit of packing smaller gifts, which we have seen now. In the package, in addition to the reduction to the charger, we also found a practical propeller, which is connected to a USB connector, such as a power bank. A small thing, but it will definitely please.
Xiaomi laptops come with Chinese
Since Xiaomi does not currently manufacture its laptops for the global market, when ordering from China, the laptop will arrive with a Chinese version of Windows 10 Home. However, this is absolutely no problem.
The notebook can be very easily reinstalled on the Slovak or Czech version of Windows 10 Home. That's enough download system image creation tool from the official Microsoft website. The tool will expand the image to a USB key, you just need a key with 8 GB capacity.
Reinstallation is very simple
You can safely run this tool on your current computer (or even on a new Xiaomi laptop), while after launch you agree to the terms and select the option "Create installation media for another computer". Then you will see a menu with the language, the version of Windows 10 and also the architecture - here it is important to choose a 64-bit system.
It takes about 30-50 minutes to create the installation media, depending on the speed of your internet, as the tool downloads Windows 10 from the internet and installs it on USB. The USB created in this way is then enough to connect to a new Xiaomi laptop and boot from it.
You must first enable USB booting in the BIOS. You can access the BIOS settings by clicking the F2 key just after turning on the laptop. The setting language can be switched to English - right in the first section below the date. Then in the BOOT section just change USB Boot to Enable.
Restart the notebook and now press the F12 keywhich opens the Boot Manager. There, just select the USB key and confirm the selection with the Enter key. The notebook will then boot from the installation USB and you are already in the process of installing a new system.
You do not activate Windows, it is activated automatically after the first connection to WiFi, as the license key is stored directly in the BIOS. The advantage is that you do not have to buy a new license for the system - so you choose the option I do not have a product key.
Then you select the version of Windows 10 Home (only the laptop is licensed for this version), you agree to the conditions and you choose the type of installation Custom. This is because the system disk needs to be completely formatted - labeled Drive 0 Partition 3: Windows.
You can safely delete or format the other Area 1 and Area 2 drives, where old Chinese Windows had dedicated files. Area 4: Data remains on data and with Area 5: Windows_RE you do nothing.
Now you just finally confirm the installation and wait for the laptop to restart. The notebook should download the drivers automatically by itself, but if some components don't work properly, you can get the drivers download from the official website. We will soon bring you a detailed video tutorial from the entire installation process.
We have already started testing and you will soon find a detailed review on our website. If you have any questions whether about the laptop or the TradingShenzhen store, feel free to ask in the comments.

Hi, yes we cannot reach the chinese mi.com website, we dont why. Maybe Xiaomi blocked it for foreign visitors. You can try to use VPN with some chinese server. But about the drivers, if you install pure Windows 10, just let it be updated, Win will automatically download all necessary drivers. We have this notebook for a weeks now, we did not install any driver from chinese website and the notebook is running perfectly.
