2A new, premium flagship smartphone from the brand Xiaomi is fast approaching. And even before the press conference, we got the official camera specifications of the model Xiaomi 14Ultra.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Huge sensor and variable aperture
We already know from previous information leaks that the back side Xiaomi 14Ultra it will be rich in protruding lenses from the body of the device. But now comes the first information about the actual equipment of these sensors.
The main one will be a large, up to 1" lens Sony LYT-900 p with a resolution of 50 MPx. In addition to high resolution, it will also offer a variable aperture in a wide range from f/1.63 up to f/4.0. Xiaomi also declares an increase in light transmission to the lens by up to 136%, in comparison with the predecessor Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

The main sensor will also be supplemented with a pair of additional telephoto lenses. These are specifically Sony IMX858 sensors, the first of which has a focal length of 75 mm, an aperture of f/1.8 and a 3,2x optical zoom, and the second subsequently a 120 mm with an aperture of f/2.5 and a 5x optical zoom.
The fourth camera in the sequence should be a 12 mm ultra-wide-angle sensor with a high resolution of 50 MPx and a shooting angle of up to 122 degrees.

The smartphone will also offer Leica Summilux technology, developed again in cooperation with the German brand Leica.
Xiaomi also published some sample photos of these sensors, which you can view in the gallery. They are top-notch images with rich colors and exemplary focus. However, we will have to wait for photos taken during standard everyday use.
