set Redmi Note 9 5G will be intended for home China. Xiaomi plans to introduce two new models that will bring support for 5G networks. Specifically, it is about Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition and Standard Edition. The devices have been certified by TENAA, which reveals several key features.
Two versions with different parameters and 5G support
The High Edition and Standard Edition designations are not yet official and it is possible that the news will not be called that. But what we do know is that there will definitely be two similarly equipped models with 5G support and they will offer different but very interesting parameters. And the prices should be interesting, but they have not been announced yet.
Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition
The more equipped model should come with a 4820 mAh battery that will be able to charge with a 33 W cable. It will offer a 6,67 ″ probably IPS panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The overall dimensions of the device will be 165,4 x 76,8 x 9 mm.
It will be at the back camera with four lenses, while the main one offers a resolution of up to 108 megapixels. The other three are not known, but we anticipate that they will be an ultra-wide-angle sensor, a macro lens and a background blur sensor. The processor will take care of the performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G.
We already had the opportunity to see him in the model Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite, which this new product is very similar to. However, the Mi 10T Lite has a main sensor with a resolution of "only" 64 megapixels. It looks like this smartphone will be rebranded Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite, but for the Chinese market.
Redmi Note 9 5G Standard Edition
The less equipped novelty offers a smaller display and smaller dimensions. These are specifically 161,96 x 77,25 x 9,2 mm. The display diagonal will be reduced to 6,53 ″, but will offer a more powerful battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. The maximum charging power will be 22,5 W and a camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels is also mentioned.
This model will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor. It is the cheapest chipset with the support of 5th generation networks, which can represent a very interesting final price of the device. It will probably be the cheapest 5G smartphone on the market.
