We have only recently been on our technology portal Xiaomi Planet published an article, in which we wrote about the availability of a new version of the MIUI superstructure, MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition, also on Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro smartphones.
Currently, the latest version of MIUI 12.5 called Enhanced Edition is only available for smartphones with flagship chipsets. However, this will soon change based on new information directly from the manufacturer.
MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition even on "weaker" smartphones
At the beginning of August this year, Xiaomi at his conference introduced an improved version of MIUI 12.5. This update aims to significantly optimize the overall operation of the system for a smoother and better user experience.
From this point of view, it would be important for the update to reach lower-performance lower-middle and middle-class smartphones as well. We only recently learned that MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition will actually enter the cheaper phones section.
MIUI 12.5 in its improved form will therefore get to smartphones in the following list. This is the second batch of the update, which should start releasing on October 8, ie in a few days.
List of supported smartphones in the second wave of the update:
- Redmi Notes 8
- Redmi Notes 9, Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 9T, Redmi Note 9 Pro
- Redmi 9T, Redmi 9 power
- Redmi Note 10 5G, Redmi Note 10T 5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro
- Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, Mi 10T Lite, Mi 10i
- POCO M3 Pro 5G, POCO X3 GT
