This new product from Xiaomi aims to purify water from various impurities and eliminate limescale through three levels of purification. The product has an official designation Xiaomi Dual-Core Water Purifier 1000G and it is also a smart part of a smart home thanks to the connection with a well-known mobile application Xiaomi Home.
You can control the basic functions remotely, directly via your smartphone, but that's not all. It is the first purifier in the world to use dual RO filtration system, which will ensure a higher rate of water purification, compared to the main Chinese competition in the segment.
The construction of this product itself consists of two parts. One of them is the just mentioned dual filtration system, which consists of a separate filter type RO200G and also RO800G. These are replaceable filters with a lifespan of approximately 2-5 years. Their replacement will be needed only occasionally.
This system is also very effective in terms of residual cleaning and offers a level of water flow 2,65 liters per minute. Higher filtering speeds are especially useful when cooking. Conversely, unfiltered water can be used without waiting, for example for washing dishes. The equipment also includes a third level of cleaning, which provides more efficient cleaning and eliminates the formation of mold inside the product.
The second element of construction is a small tap or. faucet with integrated display. It displays basic filtering information and offers additional parameters.
Price and availability of a new product
New water purifier with marking Xiaomi Dual-Core Water Purifier 1000G comes on sale so far only in the Chinese market. However, the manufacturer will pay for the unique water purification functions and the official selling price does so 2999 yuan (437 € / USD 474).
We do not yet know availability in Europe, but it is possible that Xiaomi will offer this product at least in the offer of international retailers.
