After smartphones Xiaomi 12T series all eyes are currently focused on the upcoming series 13. Almost every day, new information is leaked, this time regarding the frames around the display.
Specifically, the Chinese giant should deploy slightly narrower frames, something like the current Samsung Galaxy S22/S22+, for example. However, the frames will definitely be narrower than the current models Xiaomi 12/12S.
Narrower frames = more compact dimensions?
According to the Digital Chat Station informant, the display should also be gently curved at the corners this year. The displays will be supplied by a Chinese supplier, but it is currently unclear whether it will be CSOT or BOE.
Previous indications have already indicated that the display size will be 13 for the basic Xiaomi model 6,26-inch with 1,5K resolution and for the Pro model 6,7-inch with QHD+ resolution. Both panels should support 120-hertz refresh rate display.
Here again we will meet the optical fingerprint reader placed directly in the display. Last year they were already very successful scanners, we'll see if Xiaomi improves them with this addition.
A great camera will be a privilege of the Pro model
Xiaomi 13 is supposed to include 50-megapixel main camera, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro will probably come with 50-megapixel 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor.
Both devices will be powered by a yet-to-be-presented processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2. The sizes of the batteries are not known, we are counting on last year's capacities.
Fast charging again
The charging speed will not change either, that is 67 W for Xiaomi 13 and 120 W for Xiaomi 13 Pro. Both models will also be equipped with a coil for wireless charging with a power of up to 50 W. Everything will be under the thumb of the latest Android 13 with MIUI 14 superstructure.
Xiaomi is currently handling the show series Redmi Notes 12, which will take place on October 27. It is after this event that we expect a possible date for the introduction of the Xiaomi 13 series, already in November deadline.

Not much change yet. And I was hoping that at least Xiaomi would show some real news. When they all present almost the same phones as last year.
