Xiaomi just recently introduced Xiaomi 12S series for the Chinese market and we are already learning about Xiaomi 13 series. Her performance should be a little earlier than we are used to.
The biggest news should be the new processor. They are talking about the only possibility, namely o Snapdragon 8 Gen2. Apparently, it should be introduced a month earlier, so in November, unlike the traditional December.
Rather also on the global market?
Right after that, the first smartphones with this processor should be those from the Xiaomi 13 series, because as we know, Xiaomi usually takes the lead in integrating the latest processors from Qualcomm as soon as possible.
It is also possible that smartphones will be introduced together with this chip. Anyway, it does Xiaomi 13 series we will see it already in November, that is, at least on the Chinese market and maybe a month later on the global one as well. Perhaps Xiaomi wants to change its strategy with new generations of flagship smartphones make it to the Christmas markets.

I just hope it won't be a big cake again. I still have the Mi8 and was thinking about the Xiaomi 12 since it's almost the same size. We'll see what happens.
I am in the exact same situation. MI8 is starting to expire, especially the battery already has a poor endurance. The Mi12 seems like a good choice. After the launch of MI13, the prices will go down a bit. I am not willing to pay more than €700 for a mobile phone..
Xiaomi 12 can be bought for €565. https://xiaomiplanet.sk/xiaomi-12-globalna-verzia-oficialne-14/
I don't know about the Mi8, but the Xiaomi 12 has only average durability, I've had it for about 2 weeks, but I'm still satisfied
Well, I think Mi8 has something around 3400mAh and Xiaomi 12 4500mAh, but then again, probably also more consumption, so it can be quite similar. I've had the Mi8 since it came out, which is maybe 4 and a half years, and the battery life even after that time is still not terrible for how I normally use the phone.
Do you not experience a problem with overheating on the 12th? I know that the 11th had a problem with it, but I suspect only with a greater load. I don't use my mobile phone for gaming, just for normal web browsing and videos.
