We are starting to gather new information about the series Xiaomi 13. These will be top-of-the-line smartphones that will definitely impress with their high refresh rate displays at the end of this year.
We already know about the Xiaomi 13 series, for example, that it should be presented to the world a little earlier than the last generation, and most often the month november.
High refresh rate
In addition, it is also mentioned that Xiaomi will not leave anything to chance this time and will once again bring the best processor, which in this case should be Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
In addition to performance, it will definitely want to impress with its display panel. A well-known leaker revealed that the displays of these flagships will support up to 165-hertz refresh rate along with up to 2K resolution, which would match even the most high-end gaming smartphones on the market. However, we will see what battery capacities Xiaomi will use and whether the flagships will not suffer from low endurance.
However, at a high 2K resolution, the refresh rate would likely drop to 120Hz, just like other manufacturers' flagships. Because the combination of 2K and 165-hertz refresh rate would definitely take a toll on the battery.
Specifically, we are talking about the display from the company Samsung marked E6. However, with higher versions (Xiaomi 13 Pro model), another panel should be mounted, which will be presented soon.
Will we see a flat display?
There is even talk that new smartphones should lose the curved display. Xiaomi is also experimenting with this in a yet-to-be-presented model Xiaomi 12Lite, which will get a flat display and flat frames.
This is only the first revealed information, and we will have to wait for the truth at least until September, when at least it should be presented on the Chinese market.
What is your opinion on such a refresh rate of the display? Do you think this is useful or are you starting to worry about the durability of the new flagship?
