The Amazfit company is preparing a new smart watch designed primarily for women or men with narrower wrists. Photos of the model's packaging and watch have now hit the Internet Amazfit GTR Mini.
New smaller model
It should be a sibling of the model GTS Mini, which has been on sale for some time. Simply a model with a smaller circumference, specifically it should be the width of the dial 42 mm.
A smaller model should have a label A2174 and its code designation is Leiden . The body itself will be made of stainless steel along with a silicone strap.
There will be only one button on the right side, which will also serve as rotating crown. All the necessary sensors will be on the inside of the watch. We also expect certification 5 ATM.
The color of the body will probably be silver and gold. The straps will be midnight blue, pink and black. According to leaked information, this model will offer 1,28-inch touch AMOLED display with 2,5D curved protective glass.
Other features will include a built-in GNSS receiver with GPS, QZSS, BEIDOU and GALILEO support. It will not be missed 24-hour heart rate measurement and blood oxygenation. The watch will also offer stress and sleep measurement.
120 sports activities with GPS
There is also talk of support more than 120 sports activities. We wonder if Amazfit will also implement a microphone and speaker for direct phone calls from the wrist in the smaller watches.
The interesting news is that the Amazfit GTR Mini smart watch should contain a battery with a capacity of up to 500 mAh. Unsurprisingly, the watch will run on its own operating system Zepp OS.
We still don't know when Amazfit could put this model on sale, nor what price it will ask for the model. There may also be a showing at the MWC trade fair in Barcelona, which starts at the end of February.
