The Chinese manufacturer only recently introduced a new intelligent umbrella, precisely through its own crowdfunding platform. Today we will imagine a similar, but somewhat simplified model of an umbrella with integrated LED lighting.
Opening the umbrella itself takes literally only a second, thanks to the integrated practical mechanism, which you can start with just one press of a button on the handle. The handle also contains a key function of this model. The work here is integrated LED lighting, which can, for example, illuminate your way.
The umbrella was created in cooperation with a partner brand URev a Xiaomi this model is a direct follow-up to the previous version. Also in this case it is an umbrella made of quality materials and its use is suitable not only against rain, but also against sunlight (the substance blocks up to 99% of UV rays).
As for this luminaire, it is a module that consists of three high-brightness LEDs. The diodes are able to illuminate a distance of up to 10 meters and a novelty compared to its predecessor is the possibility of changing the inclination of the lighting.
Price and product availability
New affordable umbrella Xiaomi Urevo was officially introduced on the Xiaomi YouPin platform for the price of only 69 Chinese yuan. This is currently € 8,98 / $ 10,66. Given that the predecessor of this model has also appeared in markets outside China, we expect that the novelty will be officially available in time, for example in Europe, in the network of an official distributor.
To date, however, official availability only applies to domestic China. We expect availability from international retailers or the Aliexpress.com marketplace in the coming weeks.
