Preparations for the introduction of the new tablet from Xiaomi climax. This is indicated by increasing leaks and certifications. The latest leak indicates that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 tablet will receive a battery with a capacity of 8 mAh, which will consist of two parts.
Two-cell battery
The well-known 3C certification has revealed the fact that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will get a battery capacity of 8520 mAh, which we already knew from previous leaks. However, 3C revealed another fact, namely that the battery will be divided into two cells, each with 4260 mAh.
We have already seen such a split battery in half at another Chinese manufacturer. OnePlus has started to use such a split battery to charge faster, as two batteries were charged at the same time, reducing the total charging time.
Maybe Xiaomi is thinking about it similarly, but it is still too early to argue about it. Why Xiaomi also deals with this technology will be revealed to us probably during the introduction of this new tablet. The date remains unknown.
A question mark still hangs over the used processor
According to recent leaks, Xiaomi prepares a trio new tablets codenamed "nabu", "enuma" and "elish", the last two of which should differ only in the reception of 4G / 5G networks. So there will be two models with possible designations Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro. The pro version should compete with the biggest players in the market, such as the iPad Pro or Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 +.
It will not be missing pen support, desktop mode or a quality 2K display. The big unknown is the processors used, recently supposed to be chips from the eighth series Snapdragon, but now it is said that Xiaomi will also deploy the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor, which was used in the smartphone Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. Again, this question will be resolved by a direct performance.
