Xiaomi has launched a new model of its simple kettle, it is Xiaomi Mi Kettle 1S.
Only recently, the company introduced one of its best smart kettles Xiaomi Mijia Thermostat Pro, which is especially interesting for its display, which shows the water temperature and also the possibility of control via the mobile application Mi Home.
This time, however, we come across a relatively simple kettle. The novelty will expand the current range of the brand and will be particularly interesting for its low price.
Quality materials
The kettle has a volume 1,7 liter and its dimensions are 223 x 158 x 261 mm. The weight is 1,3 kg and is made of highly durable ABS plastic in a classic white matte color, this color is typical of most products from the Xiaomi ecosystem.
One of the key features of the new Xiaomi Mi Kettle 1S is an inner surface made of 304 stainless steel, which, in addition to insulating the outside temperature, allows for easier cleaning.
New features
Inside is an advanced STRIX electric thermostat made in the UK. It can ensure maximum power consumption up to 1800 W, which will allow the water to boil within 6 minutes. Other benefits include triple protection against electric current.
On the underside, the new Xiaomi kettle has a large shaped hole with a size of 13,5 cm, which allows you to hide part of its cable. The kettle is able to keep hot water at 55 ° C for a long time.
Price and availability
The new Xiaomi Mi Kettle 1S will be available on the Chinese market June 1th for the super price of 149 yuan, which is about 19 euros / 21 USD. We do not have any more detailed information about the availability on the global market yet.
