We would probably not expect such a quick turn of events. After yesterday's official banner from Xiaomi for a new smartphone belonging to the Mi 9 family, we are much, but much smarter today. Xiaomi has posted more official information on her Twitter account.
Name officially confirmed
The latest post published just a few hours ago confirms the official title - Xiaomi Mi 9T. Previous speculations and leaks have not been wrong. Xiaomi also states that the Mi 9T is coming soon and lets its fans guess what the letter T in the name means.

The biggest surprise: The first pre-orders for SK and CZ
Just as previous guesses were not wrong about the name Xiaomi Mi 9T, they were also wrong about the fact that it will be a global version of the Redmi K20 smartphone. Yes, The Mi 9T is just renamed the Redmi K20which will sell on the international market.
This fact was confirmed by the well-known and reliable Geekbuying dealer, which Xiaomi Mi 9T in global version (with SK and CZ LTE) included in the first pre-orders. The order can be made to a Slovak or Czech address and has even provided the first discount coupons! You will find them below.
Pre-orders will continue about 20 days, then the seller will start shipping. If you have decided to order now, select the HKEU Priority Line transport in the order, for which you will not pay customs duties or VAT.
Mi 9T as K20 and Mi 9T Pro as K20 Pro
The specifications and photos in the e-shop are official and confirmed by our direct contact from Geekbuying. Mi 9T in the global version supports complete networks in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, including B20 LTE band.
As already mentioned, the Xiaomi Mi 9T is renamed the Redmi K20, which will be sold on the international market. The seller has already listed the model Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, which in turn will replace the flagship in the global market Redmi K20 Pro. However, the Mi 9T Pro is not yet available for pre-order. You can see its specifications on this page.
Once again, Xiaomi didn't make it easier for his fans, the models will definitely be confused for many, and it's also a bit of a pity that they didn't release the smartphone directly under the Redmi brand, which is starting well and is gaining more and more fans.
Specifications have not changed
There were no changes in the parameters. Except for supporting complete LTE networks in Europe, the Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro hair smartphones are the same as the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro.
Amazing 6,39 ″ AMOLED display, 7th generation fingerprint reader, retractable front camera, Snapdragon 730/855, 48 MPx rear camera etc. 4000 mAh battery.
Everything we find in the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro models can also be found in the new Mi 9T and its Pro version. The real availability of the new models is planned for the second half of June.
