On February 8, Xiaomi officially introduced its first flagship for 2021 to the global market, called Xiaomi Mi 11. Only a few days have passed since the launch and we already have initial information about the improved sibling Xiaomi mi 11 ultra.
The current novelty is based on long-term cooperation between the Chinese giant Xiaomi and the South Korean giant Samsung. It looks like the Mi 11 Ultra will be the first smartphone with a new flagship sensor Samsung ISOCELL GN2.

A renowned leakster, Ice Univesre, has only recently released information related to the implementation 50 MPx photo sensor ISOCELL GN2 in smartphone Mi 11 Ultra. We can already say at a glance that we have something to look forward to.
The ISOCELL GN2 sensor is the largest photographic sensor ever used in smartphones. Its size is 1 / 1,12 " (for comparison, the size of the 48 MPx sensor in the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is 1 / 1.32 ″) while the size of individual pixels is 1,4 um.
Excellent features
The pixels will, as usual, merge into pixels with a size of 2,8 µm, which will achieve better conditions for night photography and overall photography with limited light access. We can also look forward to other interesting improvements.
Among the most important are brand new ones Dual Pixel Pro focus, which is basically the already excellent original Dual Pixel focus from Samsung, just with better features. We must not forget the technology either SmartISOs Pro, support for 120x zoom or recording 8K videos, 4K videos in 120 FPS a Full HD videos in unreal 480 FPS.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra smartphone should have a main 50 MPx GN2 sensor, which it will second 48 MPx wide angle lens and also 48 MPx telephoto lens. The equipment looks really good and we are already looking forward to the official performance.
