I am highly considering buying the mi11 for even though this phone will not be officially introduced to the global market. But at the same time I don't want to flash ROM. Foreign at the CN version at SVK:

- does Google pay with our credits, debits work?
- does the navigation work?

- is there something that does not work or is it problematic on the CN version?

Hello, for many NFC users, payments on CN ROM work, we didn't try it directly on CN rom, but we have Mi 11 Ultra with CN ROM, so we will test it for you 🙂 On Mi 11, where we uploaded Miuios ROM, Google Pay payments work No problem. Navigation has absolutely no problem even on CN ROM. CN ROM contains only English and Chinese, so it is generally adapted for use in China, it does not contain Google services, but the store will install them there and work without problems. Sometimes there may be something Chinese in the system, but most of them are some themes or Chinese built-in applications that can be uninstalled (for example, according to this guide https://xiaomiplanet.sk/bloatware-xiaomi-smartfony/). Otherwise, we do not know of any big / fundamental problems in CN ROM that could not be solved. It can be used and used on a daily basis.

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to connect Google Pay yet, probably in the Chinese ROM there are not all parts of Google services that GPay needs and we haven't even managed to install them yet. We are afraid that it will not work on CN ROM and it will be necessary to load a Global ROM or a modified ROM from Miuios.cz, where it works. We're still trying to search the forums to see if anyone has resolved, but it probably won't work.

Hello, both versions have automatic OTA updates. Google Pay payments do not go to the Global MI firmware due to the fact that the system did not pass the Safetynet security test. At Xiaomi.EU, Gpay works without problems, we have a Mi 11 with this system and we pay with a phone every day.

This system is in charge of the Czech-Slovak Miuios.cz community. Global MI is basically the official global system from XIaomi, which Xiaomi puts into his European phones. The main and important difference is that NFC payments via Google Pay work on Xiaomi.EU, but they do not work on Global MI. If you use this feature, you need to consider this.

Hi, what we googled hastily, it should get MIUI 15 (HyperOS, since it's a Chinese model). Xiaomi promised updates for 3 years at launch, so next year they probably end support.

The phone arrived undamaged and in top condition except for one problem: the main lens has problems with refocusing, which additionally turned out to be a fairly common problem of this model. The given problem manifests itself in the way that by default it does not resize even after marking the object, you have to significantly swipe or tap it, which is not really an ideal solution. I also contacted the seller, but still no progress, because he says he can't open my proof video with the given problem. Also, advice for those who are eager to buy: check with the seller that the phone you are going to buy does not have the given problem.
