Xiaomi is apparently slowly preparing to launch a new smartphone called Civi 3. It will receive a powerful processor in cooperation with the well-known chip manufacturer MediaTek.
It was these two companies that officially announced the new processor. This is nothing unusual in the world of smartphones, we have seen similar cooperation, for example, at the presentation of a model Xiaomi 11t, where the processor was deployed MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra.
New MediaTek processor
The same strategy was also intended by these two companies for the upcoming Xiaomi Civi 3 model. This smartphone will run on a processor MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra.
As companies have revealed on the Chinese social network Weibo, so a MediaTek processor Dimensity The 8200-Ultra will be manufactured using TSMC's 4-nanometer process with four Cortex A78 cores and four Cortex A55 cores.
This brings with it advantages such as improving burst speed up to 235% in shooting compared to what it offered his previous generation Civi 2.
Again only for China
The new processor should therefore offer really high performance at a classic mid-range price. However, it should be remembered that this will be a dedicated smartphone only for domestic Chinese market.
But as we know, the last generation of Xiaomi Civi 2 finally showed itself on the global market as Xiaomi 13Lite. So it is possible that the Civi 3 model will come to the global market later as Xiaomi 14Lite.
Performance later this year
That's all we know about the upcoming Xiaomi Civi 3 smartphone for now. It seems that the Chinese giant is already working on it honestly, so we could expect it sometime in the coming months.
For comparison, the Xiaomi model Civil 2 was introduced to the Chinese market at the end of September last year. So we can expect his successor in the same period.
