Xiaomi is known to enrich its MIUI extension on a regular basis with a number of new and interesting features. Among them, a new one was added Screen Combos, thanks to which we can mirror image from our smartphone to pc.
With this novelty, you will be able to significantly streamline your work performance and the overall work with the smartphone will be much easier and more meaningful. In this article, we will briefly introduce you to what the Screen Combo function can do in practice.
More comfortable work
This useful feature appeared in the Chinese version of MIUI 12.0.2. Its availability is currently limited to Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 9, 9 Pro and 9T Pro devices from Chinese distribution. Images from the use of the Screen Combo were also made public.
In the images above you can see the detailed description of the screen mirroring functionality in MIUI. But it must be said that we have these screenshots thanks to the members of the XDA-developers team and they are not from the most current version of the superstructure. Because of this, the function menu may currently look different.
In practice, this innovation can transfer images from a phone to a computer or laptop by connecting a PC and a smartphone on the same network. However, in addition to viewing the content, you can get a lot more out of your assistant with Screen Combo.
An interesting option is to conveniently and quickly transfer content by simply dragging and dropping files as you used to on your PC. Screen Combo also allows you to open spreadsheets from your smartphone in Excel or other Microsoft applications directly on your computer.
Of course, the improved multitasking is also a great feature. While the size of the display on your smartphone is relatively limited, thanks to the screen mirroring in MIUI, you can have several applications open on your PC.
The new feature of screen sharing is a welcome and useful feature. We are already very much looking forward to seeing it in the global version of ROM. For now, we just have to wait patiently for an update.

We didn't even know if this would require installing the application on your computer, or if it would work as unreliably as a screen mirror on TV.
