In recent weeks / months, we have witnessed a great introduction of new devices, especially smartphones. Even a mega conference is coming soon, at which Xiaomi will present a large number of interesting pieces.
Most of us who follow the events surrounding technological innovations certainly have in their heads the introduction of new products with leaks of various information about the product. Xiaomi wants to prevent this in a new way.
What is a "leak"?
"Lekaster" is a designation for a person who releases information about a product to the media, mostly the Internet, even before its introduction. Thanks to these leaksters, we then know in advance what to expect from the given device.
It has to be said that many of these leaks are being released by the companies themselves. This is a very effective form of advertising, which is essentially free. In some cases, however, these leaks are really unwanted and undesirable by the company.
Legal notices for leaksters
Sudhanshu Ambhore is a well-known leakster who has only recently received a legal notice from Xiaomi himself. In his post on the social network Twitter, he states that this is the first time he has received a legal notice from a company.
This is the first time I've received a Legal Notice from any brand for leaking a product. The Legal Notice is regarding leaking price, specs of phone and sharing YouTube video link.
Note: I didn't sign any embargo or NDA for the product.

This particular news is about the launch of the smartphone POCO The M3 Pro 5G which was launched just over 2 months ago. Apparently, this is only a kind of guideline from the Xiaomi tent, since the leakster did not sign any non-disclosure agreement.
It is also interesting that Sudhanshu Ambhore did not even share some information on the Internet first, but only made it visible on his profile on the social network Twitter. A passage also appeared in the report stating that the Chinese giant did not want the prices of any products to be disclosed before they were launched.
We'll see how much this will all happen and whether Xiaomi will take further steps to fight the leakers. We will continue to monitor the whole situation and then publish all the news on our Xiaomi Planet portal, in our group on Facebook and also through the newsletter in your inbox.
