Xiaomi Band 7 is without a doubt one of the most anticipated, affordable fitness bracelets on the market. However, new leaks indicate that it will be an evolution of the current model rather than an innovation.
One of the feared factors of this product was definitely the selling price. Given the news that was expected, there was a presumption of an increase in the selling price. However, it looks like the manufacturer has abandoned its original plans, which will be reflected in the final figure.
NFC chip for mobile payments and up to 250 mAh battery
In the escaped image resp. promotional material we can see the Chinese price bracelet, which stopped at the level of 259 Chinese yuan. This is approximately 36 € / 38 USD. However, it should be noted that the version for this price should already offer an integrated NFC chip for the use of mobile payments. In the Chinese version, of course through the local Mi Pay service.
We don't seem to see too many surprises from the other equipment. The display should offer a diagonal of 1,56 ″, but also AMOLED technology and a resolution of 490 x 192 pixels.
A novelty should be a battery with a capacity of up to 250 mAh, which corresponds to twice the current model. It is the increase in capacity that could mark the implementation of Always-On technology, which has been mentioned in the past.
The bracelet is currently being prepared and is expected to be launched soon. In addition, the official presentation could even be associated with the introduction of the new flagship smartphone Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
