New information this time from the photo
Today, a photograph with the possible name and parameters of the new Redmi flagship appeared on the Chinese Internet. This is a photo of the foil from the display, which is usually glued as protection on new mobile phones and is removed from the display before the first use.
From the information on it, it is clear that the new model is named Redmi K20 Pro. The device should currently be powered by the most powerful processor Snapdragon 855 with 7 nm technologywhich is already officially known.
The photo also confirms the use of a triple rear camera. The main sensor offers resolution 48 MPx, others should come with 13 MPx and 8 MPx. Front 20 MPx camera should be located in the pull-out module.
The front of the phone will form AMOLED display without cutout with diagonal 6,39 inches. The fact that the display will be without cutouts is also confirmed by the shape of the foil from the leaked photo. On older phones with cutouts in the displays, these cutouts also have used foils.

We also know other parameters from the recently leaked information. The new Redmi should be equipped with a connector for 3,5 mm jack and a favorite module NFC. The 6.39-inch AMOLED display should have a resolution 2340 x 1080 pixels. Lu Weibing himself, CEO of Redmi, confirmed that one of the cameras will be available ultra wide angle sensor.
We must add that the source of the photo of the film has not been verified and therefore this information is not guaranteed. Until recently, the still unimagined novelty from Redmi was referred to as a model Redmi X. General manager Lu Weibing alone a few days ago refuted this name, adding that the smartphone will get a better name.
The recently separated Redmi brand has not yet specified the individual series or model lines of its future devices. It is possible that just K series could bear the premium class designation of the phones.
As information on the hardware used in the new flagship varies, we believe that two models will be introduced simultaneously on D-Day. The "Pro" model designation from the leaked photo also suggests this. It begs the question whether it will not be the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.
From recently published information, we know that Redmi is also preparing a cheaper model with a Snapdragon 730 or 710 processor. It is possible that it will be the K20 model, which could have smaller dimensions, a class lower processor, but also a display without a cutout and a sliding camera.
