Redmi had a conference at which it presented, among other things, the refurbished models of its laptops. They only updated the processors themselves, where the manufacturer built on AMD and its Ryzen series.
Intel replaced AMD processors
The processor update affected both the 14-inch and 15-inch variants of the notebook Redmi Book Pro. All features and design have been preserved. The manufacturer bet on AMD Ryzen processors.
In RedmiBook Pro 14 we find the AMD AMD Ryzen 5 5500U and Ryzen 7 5700U processors. The 15-inch model gets the more powerful AMD Ryzen 5 5600H and Ryzen 7 5800H. All other parameters remain unchanged.
Beautiful design and top display
RedmiBook Pro notebooks are beautiful machines in an aluminum design, which are slightly reminiscent of Apple's MacBook Pro. The larger version offers a 3,2K Super Retina display and the smaller version has a 2,5K resolution. Both models have a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
It is also worth mentioning the support of the modern standard Wi-Fi 6, which is becoming more widespread. RedmiBook Pro 15 supports up to 100 W charging. The integrated battery itself has 70 Wh.
Prices and availability
The RedmiBook Pro notebooks in the 14 and 15-inch versions will be available only in the Chinese market for the time being. In the future, however, we expect them to be offered by international resellers in the same way as they were with their Intel versions.
Prices will be as follows: RedmiBook Pro 14 with AMD AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD will cost 4 yuan, which is about 299 euros, the version with AMD Ryzen 549 7U will cost 5700 yuan (4 euros) .
The 15-inch version with the AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor and 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD will cost 4 yuan (799 euros) and the version with the Ryzen 613 7H will reach the level of 5800 yuan, ie some 5 euros. These are really great prices for laptops equipped in this way.
These laptops offer a great price / performance ratio, which we are already used to with this brand. We will inform you in time as soon as they appear at the sellers.
