The Redmi company has officially introduced the Redmi Smart Band 2 smart bracelet to the global market. It was introduced in China at the end of the year, so other interested parties finally got to see it.
6 strap colors and light weight
In terms of design, it is no different from the Chinese version. Again, this is a classic-looking smart bracelet, while there will be 6 strap colors to choose from - black, white, pink, blue, green and ivory.
The bracelet itself has dimensions 42,81 x 25,42 x 9,9 mm with a weight of only 14,9 grams without a strap. The bracelet also has a proper certification 5 ATMs.
Average TFT display
The main display has a diagonal 1,47-inch and it is a TFT display. Because of this technology, we won't even find the Always-on display function here. The resolution is then 320 x 172 pixels, which gives a final fineness of 247 ppi.
The maximum brightness then stabilized at the value 450 rivets. The display is protected by tempered glass with gently curved edges. Compared to Xiaomi smart band 7 the Redmi bracelet should provide a 10,5% larger display area. As for dials, the manufacturer has prepared more than 100 of them.
30 activities without GPS
Redmi Smart Band 2 can measure more than 30 sports activities, but you have to accept the fact that you won't find a GPS module here. In addition, the bracelet can measure heart rate, blood oxygenation, stress and sleep. Women will also enjoy watching their menstrual cycle.
The bracelet is charged using a magnetic charger, which is of course included in the package. Charging should not take more than two hours. As for the endurance itself, the manufacturer indicates the capacity 210 mAh and declares 14 days of normal use, in the case of a more demanding one, the duration is reduced to approximately 6 days.
The price will please
The price on the European market is set at 34,99 EUR, which is a really great amount regarding the price/performance ratio. For sure, the Redmi Smart Band 2 will also appear at local retailers.
