Redmi is known for its line of Note smartphones. Xiaomi plans to introduce the Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone, but it doesn't seem to be the only one listed. Redmi Note 9 Pro should see the light of day as early as March 12/2020.
Redmi Note 9 Pro Max instead of Mi Max 4?
Not all, the information about the arrival of Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes from Twitter. We can't tell the main differences between the Max model and the Pro model, but we can be sure of one thing - the size of the display.
The attribute "Max" can remind us of a series of smartphones for lovers of large displays, Mi Max. The Mi Max series had 3 smartphones, but several sources do not doubt the end of this series with the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 smartphone.
From "Mi" to "Redmi"
All hope for Mi Max has not been lost yet thanks to a tweet that speaks of the transition to the Redmi brand. Mi Max smartphones have never had flagged or semi-flagged hardware. The "Mi" line is the flagship line and that is why it is a sensible step to move the Mi Max smartphones to Redmi.
It looks hopeful that we will see the continuation of the Mi Max series. The specifications of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max would therefore be very similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro. More specifically, we are talking about the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor (1,8 GHz, 8 cores), at least 6 GB RAM, 64 MPx main camera with the new Sony IMX686 sensor, ultra-wide camera, telephoto lens and sensor with a large depth of field.
The smartphone should also support fast 22,5 W or 30 W charging. The operating system should be Android 10 with the graphical extension MIUI 11. At first glance, almost no changes, but fans of the Mi Max series will get their money's worth.
The display on the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max could exceed the insane limit of 7 inches. For phones with a diagonal over 7 inches, we could talk about small tablets.
