Xiaomi launched a smartphone Redmi Notes 9 at the end of April this year. The following month Xiaomi marked as Redmi 10X 4Gwhich falls under the Chinese market. In July, the smartphone debuted with its original name Notes 9 also in India.
After a month of sales in the Indian market, the company introduces a new color variant, which bears the name Onyx Black and will also show up in the global market.
Redmi Note 9 in Onyx Black

Xiaomi came up with a new color variant called Onyx Black pre Notes 9which debuted in April.
Unlike the previous model in the form Redmi Notes 8, which was previously available in China in the Twilight Orange color variant, Notes 9 debuts in color Onyx Black for the first time in any region. Unfortunately, on yesterday's announcement Xiaomi did not reveal the specific countries to which the new color variant will eventually enter.
Another country, another name
Redmi Notes 9 was originally marketed in three color variants, namely Forest Green, Midnight Gray and Polar White. The same color variants are also known on the Chinese market as Pine Morning Green, Sky Blue and Ice Fog White.
The smartphone is sold in China under the name Redmi 10X 4G, and it is becoming more and more familiar to us Redmi Notes 9.
India again has its own variants, which are called Aqua Green, Pebble Gray and Arctic White. India on the occasion of a big sale on Amazon - Amazon Prime Day, also received an exclusive color variant called Scarlet Red.
It is therefore highly likely that the new color variant Onyx Black will be named in the same way. Another market, another name. It should be sold in India, China, as well as in the global market, including our extremities.
