Chinese company Xiaomi has yet to officially launch the global version of its branded smartphones Redmi Note 12 5G a Note 12 4G. Nevertheless, they can already be ordered, even with a discount coupon and availability at an international retailer.
Redmi Note 12 5G: Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 and 5000 mAh battery
The more expensive and slightly more equipped of the two devices, Redmi Note 12 5G, offers a rounded body with a square camera module on the back. And it supports fast via the USB Type C connector 33 W charging. The charger is included in the package and the smartphone will be available in Forest Green, Ice Blue and Onyx Grey.
Redmi Note 12 4G: 6,67″ 120 Hz panel and 50 MPx camera
An alternative to this device is a cheaper model with the name Redmi Note 12 4G. The latter will offer a very similar design treatment with a rounded construction, with dimensions of 165,66 x 75,96 x 7,85 mm and a weight of 183,5 grams. He has an identical one 6,67 ″ 120 Hz AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, DCI-P3 color gamut support and brightness up to 700 nits.
In this case, a new processor with a label will take care of the performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (SM6225), made with 6 nm technology. This processor only supports 4G connectivity. However, it is supplemented with a Qualcomm Adreno 610 graphics chip, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. On the software side, the Android 13 operating system and the new MIUI 14 superstructure are available.
On the back is the main one 50 MPx camera, which is supplemented by an 8 MPx ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2 MPx depth sensor. The front camera has 8 MPx and this model also has NFC, a 3,5 mm jack or an infrared port. The battery has capacity 5000 mAh.
