Xiaomi quietly introduced an affordable novelty Redmi 14C. Improvements have been made in both performance and design. The smartphone definitely has something to impress, and one of its advantages should also be the battery life. Let's look at its specific parameters.
Redmi 14C has a good ratio of price and equipment
Redmi 14C immediately impresses with its thin body. With a thickness of only 8,22 mm surprises at first contact. The sides of the device are flat, and the camera module has become circular. It is thus similar to more expensive, premium models from Xiaomi and other Chinese brands. Four color versions are available:
- Midnight Black
- Dream Purple
- Say Green
- Starry Blue
The display is really huge and features up to 6,88-inch diagonally. The panel does not lack a solution for limiting the emission of blue light from TUV Rheinland.
Users with sensitive eyes will also be pleased that the display has a low flicker level. The screen is thus suitable, for example, for long-term reading of text, as evidenced by the additional software reading mode, which minimizes the strain on your eyes.
In the guts Redmi 14C is a hidden chip MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra, which is the octa-core processor that has the most available 16 GB operating memory. It can still be expanded by another 8 GB using the SWAP function.
The battery has capacity 5160 mAh and should, together with more economical hardware, serve richly for a long time. The manufacturer indicates the possibility of continuous viewing of videos for a period of 22 hours. Supports 18 W wired charging.
Photographic equipment consists of 50 MPx primary camera, 2 MPx depth sensor and 13 MPx front "selfie" sensor. Video recording is supported only in Full HD at 30 fps. Of course, the limitation is on the performance side of the chipset used.
3,5 mm jack and probably no charger in the package
The phone does not lack a fingerprint scanner implemented in the power button and not even 3,5 mm audio jack for connecting wired headphones. In the home market, China, the device could come with a 33W charging adapter in the box. However, in the case of Europe Redmi 14C apparently it comes without a charger.
Memory versions should be available 4 GB / 128 GB, 4 GB / 256 GB, 6 GB / 128 GB a 8 GB / 256 GB. The price starts in conversion to 107,55 € (119 $). It is a smartphone intended for undemanding users, which is suitable for ordinary, everyday purposes.
