POCO M3: 6.53 ″ IPS display and Snapdragon 662
At the beginning our presentation on the company POCO presented its vision of the F, X series of smartphones and, after all, the M as well. The M is supposed to be the most affordable and, compared to cheap competing smartphones, it wants to go even further and improve the equipment itself. This is the result in the form of a model LITTLE M3 and its technical specifications.
The smartphone will offer an interesting color design and, despite the plastic frames, there is definitely a touch of targeting young customers. The device contains a 6,53 ″ IPS panel with Full HD + resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels) and a drop-shaped cutout in its upper part.
Thanks to the thin frames, the display occupies up to 90,34% of the front wall. The cutout contains a front camera with a resolution of 8 MPx.
In terms of performance, the manufacturer wanted to differentiate itself from the competition and offers a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor made with 11 nm technology. It is also supplemented by 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage (version 2.2 only for 128 GB of memory). There is no lack of DualSIM support and a full-fledged separate microSD memory card slot (up to 512 GB).
Three cameras and a 6000 mAh battery
A very important element of this device is the rear camera. It includes three sensors, the main one offering a resolution of up to 48 MPx (f / 2.0). There are two secondary cameras, a 5 MPx (f / 2.2) ultra-wide angle sensor and a 2 MPx (f / 2.4) macro sensor. There is also an LED flash and support for shooting 1080p (30 fps) video.
The camera also includes several modes such as color-focus, ie focusing on individual colors, there is a time-lapse mode, but also a night mode for better photos in poor lighting conditions.
Other features will surprise you with your presence stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio certification, infrared port for controlling home electronics, 3,5 mm audio jack or FM radio.
On the battery side, there is a battery with a total capacity of up to 6000 mAh, while the smartphone also supports fast 18W cable charging via the USB type C connector directly in the package.
The manufacturer also emphasizes the cycles of its batteries, while the competition's standard battery has 800 cycles at full battery capacity, the POCO offers up to 1000 battery shots. The equipment also includes a fingerprint sensor, which is located in the side power button. We can already know this solution from several models from Xiaomi.
