The owners of this model have finally seen it and are receiving an update to the latest MIUI 12 in the global version.

This is the third update of the MIUI version for this smartphone since POCO F1 was introduced along with MIUI 9 later in 2018. Since then, it has received updates to MIUI 10 and MIUI 11. The latest version MIUI 12 is probably the last big update that this great phone will receive.
The update comes with a label V12.0.1.0.QEJMIXM and has a size of 1.9 GB. Anyone who knows the labeling of updates already knows that it is a global version (according to the letters MI in the title) and not an EU version - it has the designation EU (European Global) in the title.
It is not yet known when the update will reach EU-branded models. However, based on previous experience, we can expect that MIUI 12 in the EU, the global version will come in the coming days or weeks.

You get a beautiful modern user interface with new moving Super wallpapers that go from Always On through the lock screen seamlessly to the home screen. The notification panel with shortcuts, which inconspicuously resembles the one from the iOS operating system, has also changed.
The home screen also underwent a subtle design change, where the font and icon style changed. Gesture control, system stability, and multi-windowing have been improved. The application for photography and video recording, the application for notes, weather and much more also underwent a change.
