On February 22nd, February, Redmi CEO Lu Weibing announced the introduction of the Redmi K30 Pro. This will be timed between the launch of the Huawei P40 and Honor 30 smartphones. The Huawei P40 will be launched on March 26 / March, while the Honor 30 is expected to be released by the end of April / April.

The new model is expected to be the rightful successor to the Redmi K20 Pro and thus bring rich equipment, high performance at a relatively low price. According to the render on the advertising poster, the new model will be delivered with a display without a cut-out or perforation for the front camera. It will probably be hidden in the pull-out module, similar to the previous "K" series.
A 6,67-inch OLED display with FullHD + resolution and a fingerprint sensor is expected. In addition, the equipment should include a Snapdragon 865 processor along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. The primary rear camera sensor should be a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686. There should also be a large capacity battery with support for fast charging 33 W.
