No one needs to present mobile data to anyone. We all use the possibility of connecting to the Internet outside the range of Wi-Fi on a daily basis. Some of us have less mobile data, others have more or possibly a completely unlimited data package.
If you belong to a group of people who carefully guard the use of data, be sure to read this article to the end. Today we will show you how you can find out which applications spend your mobile data the most and at the same time we will show you how you can set a one-time data limit.
MIUI offers you a clear overview
As we are on the Xiaomi Planet portal, we will present today's instructions on smartphones with the MIUI extension. MIUI system is factory installed on all Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO and Black Shark smartphones.
In the image above, you can see our editorial model POCO F3, on which there is a list of applications using mobile data. You can sort the applications according to various criteria, in our case the apps are sorted from the largest consumption of mobile data to the smallest.
Thanks to this clear list, you can then block access to mobile data or even Wi-Fi by clicking on the application. You will find a clear report in the application Optimization, specifically in the section "Data consumption" and following "statistics".
Data limit
If you still don't want to think about how much data you've already consumed and how much more you can consume, MIUI developers have implemented a useful feature specifically for this case.
The procedure is more or less the same. First open the application "Optimization", click on "Data consumption” and then choose the option “Set data consumption limit".
In this menu you can set the value of the monthly data limit and the action in case you exceed this volume (automatic data shutdown or display of notifications). There is also the possibility to set the date of renewal of the data package, ie the day when the counter of used data is reset.
