Xiaomi, in cooperation with Huami, creates various accessories for sports for us, but mainly watches and sports bracelets. Huami also has the Amazfit application, where you can monitor several data, which are also processed into graphs.
It is the Amazfit application that receives an update to version 4.0, which brings several new features.
Amzfit 4.0 with a completely new design
You will see the change immediately after opening the application. The home page is pretty nice in dark mode. Each measured quantity has a separate "box", after clicking, a window with a graph, other functions and values will open. Also new is the function of viewing the history graphically or textually.
In previous versions, it was not possible to trace the detailed history of elements such as basal metabolism, muscle mass, training load and others. The new version offers this and the data is very clear.
The bottom bar strikes the eye at first sight because it is not in dark mode, but is white. There are three main sections - home screen, "Enjoy" tab and "Profile". Above the bottom bar is a pop-up window in which you will find the main tools and the most used sports activities.
The "Friends" function has been replaced by the "Enjoy" function, which contains several functions, including "Friends", "Set destinations", "Alarm clock". The disadvantage is the fact that most of the application is still in English and only some parts are translated into Slovak, which seems chaotic.
However, we see the manufacturer's efforts to improve the application and we believe that we will also see a full-fledged Slovak translation. The new Amazfit 4.0 application is available at Google Play Storefrom where you can download the update.
