Are you saying that the technological world will no longer surprise you? Ours surprised again with a new feature from Xiaomi. Thanks to the WalkingPad belt, you can walk even when it's ugly outside.
If you are athletic, one way to get a daily workout is to climb on a treadmill. It is usually large, heavy and may not make a good impression in your room. That's why Xiaomi has created a mini treadmill called the WalkingPad Mini, which will not be a thorn in the side, but also has its limitations.
The treadmill from Xiaomi is depleted of the front panel with handles and controls compared to the classic ones. Instead, it only has a miniature LED display and the control is solved using an application on a smartphone remotely. Therefore, the Xiaomi belt is compact and sleek, suitable for small homes. With its dimensions, it will fit under the bed or in the wardrobe.
Xiaomi WalkingPad is able to spin your belt from speeds of 0,5 to 6 kilometers per hour, while controlling the pace with a smartphone or the included wireless hand control. The weight of the belt is 25 kilograms and dimensions 1200 x 415 mm. The WalkingPad is built for people weighing up to 90 kilograms.
The construction of the WalkPad is made of aluminum and the belt got an elastic material with a high density. The display on the front of the device shows information about the exercise time and the achieved speed. You can choose from two modes - manual, when you control the speed with a smartphone or remote control, and automatic, in which the belt itself recognizes when to accelerate or decelerate according to your movements.
The walking pad supports pairing with the Mi Home application, which integrates perfectly into the system of your smart home. After taking the living room walk, you can fold the belt in half and slide it under the couch. At the front, the belt is equipped with wheels, so you do not have to worry about heavy transfers to other places in the house.
The Xiaomi WalkingPad is available on the Xiaomi YouPin site and comes priced at approximately € 230. The first deliveries are expected on May 31 this year.
