MediaTek Helio G85 processor
The novelty from the Chinese manufacturer will also be equipped with a new and updated processor. Included in the equipment version Redmi Note 8 2021 should be an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor (two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores).
For previous models, whether the original model Redmi Notes 8 or its predecessor Redmi Notes 7, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660/665 processors were used. It is a bold choice on the part of the manufacturer to use competing MediaTek.
