Defeats Apple or Samsung
The statistical company Canalys has published a table comparing the success of smartphone sales in the fourth quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020. The results are more than surprising.
As you can read from the table, the Chinese companies Xiaomi and Vivo are the only ones to see an increase in global sales. While Xiaomi has a 9% increase, Vivo has succeeded with 3%.
Other companies, along with Apple in the US, Samsung in South Korea and Huawei in China, experienced large losses, which were expected.
In general, like all other industries, the smartphone sales market has experienced a major downturn. The coronavirus disease took its toll on every aspect.
